Ryan came to CrossFit Harrogate as the "new" Head Coach back in 2014. After two years, he then had the opportunity to become the owner; he always envisaged running a CrossFit affiliate but this was sooner than anticipated! In February 2016, Ryan became the owner of CrossFit Harrogate and he hasn't looked back since, investing his time and money into turning CrossFit Harrogate into a premium training facility. Ryan has almost 14 years of CrossFit coaching experience, starting when he attended Leeds Met University in 2010, where he met his flatmate who was a CrossFit fanatic. After a trial class, he caught the CrossFit bug! "Changing people's lives through fitness is just as rewarding today as it was 14 years ago. I truly believe CrossFit is for anyone and everyone. Our ultimate goal is longevity - I want to enable as many people as possible, to do as much as possible, for as long as possible." When he's not at the gym, you'll find Ryan face first in a cup of specialty coffee or a pizza, maybe both! With his first sport being Tennis, he enjoys picking up either a Tennis or Padel racket and getting on the court!

With over 16 years in the fitness industry, Scott brings a wealth of coaching experience and contagious energy to CrossFit Harrogate. He's coached everywhere from corporate gyms to cruise ships, helping people of all backgrounds get stronger, move better and build confidence through functional fitness. His coaching style blends technical precision with motivation and fun — pushing athletes to reach their potential while keeping the atmosphere positive and inclusive. Whether you're new to CrossFit or chasing your next PB, Scott will help you find your edge and enjoy the process every step of the way.

Chrissi is a CrossFit Coach with over 10 years experience as a Physiotherapist where she has experience in a variety of areas including sports teams, military, and trauma and orthopaedics. She has a strong background in national-level sport, including badminton, volleyball, rugby league and Premiership rugby union. Holding her CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Pilates qualification, she brings a technical, form-focused approach to coaching and is currently completing her Women's Specialist Personal Training certification. Chrissi is passionate about people enjoying their fitness journey and you'll be sure to find some fun in her classes along with her dedication to get athletes moving in the best way for their body—optimising mechanics to reduce injury risk and build long-term resilience. Outside the gym, she loves walking her two wire-haired dachshunds, eating out at new places and jumping in on a good endurance WOD.

Rachael is an experienced coach across many domains from ante natal exercise to post-op rehab and elite performance. She is the lead athlete mentor developing programmes for the Youth Sport Trust and is passionate about coaching kids.

With over 8 years of coaching experience at CrossFit Harrogate, Tom enjoys guiding athletes through their fitness journey. He believes in building confidence through establishing a strong foundation. Whether you're learning the basics or aiming for advanced movements, Tom is always enthusiastic and keen to help improve your health and fitness. Outside of the gym he also enjoys putting his fitness to the test with external CrossFit competitions, racket sports and the occasional Park Run.
